Description
THE GREAT BEAUTY
Making a Champagne Rosé is never a trivial matter: to give it that wonderful color you have to let the must stay in contact with the Pinot Noir lees for too long or too little and unfortunately the production is limited only to the best vintages. If the format, moreover, is Magnum and if we are talking about a maison like Louis Roederer the combination is perfect and inimitable! Produced in very limited quantities, this Champagne is a specimen of rare beauty, precision and confidentiality, a casket that will only be open to a privileged few.
Splendid pink gold mantle with coppery reflections, opens to the nose with initial and intriguing hints of red fruits and great chalky minerality, then aromatic herbs, bread crust, honey, ginger and toasted almond. On the palate it is perfectly responsive, elegant and supported by a beautiful acid verve. Very long finish on bitter orange notes.
A splendid companion for an aperitif or a complete meal based on shellfish and seafood.
